Tempus Branding and Marketing
I started at Tempus in 2017 as a graphic designer on the brand team. I worked on a vast array of projects - everything from event booth planning to packaging design for medical sample testing kits. While on the brand team, I led an overhaul of our brand guidelines and partnered with the design director to re-design the Tempus website. I also worked closely with the product designers to provide visual feedback and UI support.
P R I N T
A large chunk of my responsibility was creating print collateral for the sales team and various events. In my first year, I was tasked with a major redesign of our existing print collateral and lead the design and content gathering for a series of one-pagers and books. This required intensive coordination and approvals with subject matter experts. I managed the full process from print supplier sourcing to stock management and distribution.

To aid in our collateral redesign and alignment of all digital assets, I updated and formalised our brand guidelines. After extensive mood-boarding, we landed on a visual direction. I formalised our guidelines for use internally and with external partners.
E V E N T S
Tempus was featured annually at a large conference in Chicago called ASCO. I partnered with our design director to create the booth designs, printed collateral, signage, digital screensavers, and video content for this event. Much of our yearly work culminated at this event, including the launch of our brand redesign. This required meticulous coordination of content gathering, print timelines, approvals, and vendor management.
O F F I C E
Over the course of 2018, I helped our design director lead a major office expansion and redesign. This included everything from floor plan design with the architects to signage and furniture selection.
M U R AL
Our CEO requested a large mural-style wall to welcome visitors to the office, featuring a quote from the Lorax. I lead the design and installation of this on my own.
P H O T O G R A P H Y
After the office expansion, I worked with our design director to coordinate a professional photo-shoot of the new space. We also partnered with a film agency to create a custom brand video with live footage of our lab and office.
P A C K A G I N G
As Tempus scaled and orders increased, we created custom packaging for our blood and saliva sample collection kits. I lead the design and coordinated the production of these kits. Responsibilities included design of all print materials, instructional illustrations, physical product design, regulatory approvals, sample prototyping, and testing.
W E B S I T E
The design director and I lead a major website redesign and rebuild in 2018. We gathered content and art directed the creation of visual assets including animations, video, and photography. I managed the development and handoff of design specs and QA with our engineering contractors. This was my largest digital project at that time, and inspired me to explore a career in product design.
