Huma Research
At Huma, I worked on both early discovery and technical implementation of features. The examples below highlight the research side of my job. I was often tasked with validating new product ideas that filtered in through various sources. This required problem validation, deep research into niche healthcare workflows, and interrogation of internal assumptions. To gain a birds-eye view of the assumed problem at hand, I conducted user interviews, created personas and workflow maps, and documented organised summaries of my findings.

Since Huma provides patient vitals to doctors, they use our software alongside their own in-house EHR softwares. I conducted a research project to investigate this landscape to inform decisions about integrating our software more directly with EHRs. This mostly involved user interviews. From there, I created personas and summarised the findings in a series of user-friendly visualisations for broad distribution within the company.

Huma has an internal software used to custom create an interface for each client. For this project, I research the viability of making that software available to our clients directly. The main goal was to identify the potential user groups, map their workflows, and compare to our current process.
